honda says to turn gas off and run out for the CRF. just about same motor so I cant see the problem.

I think hes talking about when you shut it off run the gas out of it. Probably to keep the carb from gunking up.

yah lets lean the engine out so bad that it dies...not a good idea unless your not gonna ride the waud for extended peiods of time

if you are going to have the quad down for a long period of time, like months long, then you should prolly drain the bowl. You can do this just by turning off the gas and draining the bowl through the drain screw. If you drain the quad by running it I would say the same thing Mike said, but I couldn't prove it hurts it. However, if this becomes a normal ritual of yours look to a 20 minute kick start ritual as well. (maybe)
