is there such thing as a long travel 300ex swing arm? i was wondering if it is like a +2 with a different placement of the shock mount or something like that.


any feed back towards this would be very helpful. thanks

you can bring it to a welder and have him extend your stock swinger.

na him not talkin about extending a swinger because i can do it myself... im talking about if there is one out there that uses a longer shock so you can have more shock travel.

i just want to know if something like this exists

well if your good a fab you would probly get a stock swinger from like a 400ex 250r or a 450 or somthing and fab that up to fit.
their rear shocks are longer than 300ex

looked into that seems like its too much of a hassel to do

Noone makes a long shock rear end for the 300ex that I'm aware of.

The travel on the rear end isn't an issue.

The front end has no travel. If you get enough travel out of the front end, it is easy enough to match it on the rear with a standard length customized shock.

hey thanks for the information...im probably gonna go with a new aftermarket rear shock since i have a raptor shock right now

Try a 350x swingarm. I just put one on my 250x/350x conversion. Added plus 1.25 and adjustable rear shock

yup, My axis rear almost matches my LT Front end with YFZ stockers.

you migh be able to instal a lowering kit with a 400ex rear shock on dont know i wondered if t would work because i was thinkin the same thing as you

if you want more travel from your swing arm go with an elka rear shock because theres gives you 10.1 inches of travel and a 2 inch lower ride hieght thats what i went with the only problem is the cost

im puting a350x rear shock on my 300ex with a 350x swingarms and linkage. ill take pics when. i do it i still need to have ups drop it off with my triple rate front shcoks and 350x swingarm and shock and some other suff.

i got the rear shock and wow its nice. adjustale comprettion and preload and rebound.

Yeah a 450r swingarm. It works.
