This blows; I have school tomorrow! Anyone else have school on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day? It kinda wierd cause i now live like 20 min. from Chicago and near a lot of black people! I figured we would have tomorrow off.

we have tomorrow off, i dont know if its because of martin luther king jr day or not. We have exams starting tuesday and then we have friday off. Honestly i want school tomorrow to get exams over.

We get tomorro off, but we don't get veterans day off. Doesn't make sense to me when we have like 1 black kid in the whole K-12. I think the vets should get more respect then some black guy

ya i agree, EVERYONE should be off for veterans day without a doubt. If it wasnt for the veterans we wouldnt have the option to decide if it should be a holiday or not.
We're off tomorrow too, and why are we celebrating his death? if you want to glorify someone, why celebrate their death?

Nope, in school tommorow. Last week we had finals Tues. and Weds. and no school Thurs....yet we went back on Friday to begin a new semester with new classes....:rolleyes:
