X-Box 360?

I just put one on hold and i noticed that a few people on here have one

1. Do i need an HDTV to play my xbox?
2. Do you expirience and bugs during gameplay?

no u do not need hdtv there is a setting that allows u to play on either hdtv setting or regular tv. I havent had any flaws with mine although i have heard of overheating and disc scratching problems.

my friends chewed up his Madden disc. He just brought it back to the store got full credit for it and then bought a new one right then and there.

mine has scratched two disks and ive returned both of them but the xbox 360 isnt worht the money. i would not buy anither one or reccommend one to someone

I do have mine on my HDTV just so I can enjoy the graphics to their fullest. I have not had a single bit of problem with mine. For those of you experiencing scratched disks, is your console laying down or standing up?

mine scratched nhl2k6 lying down and madden 06 standing up GARBAGE!

haven't had a single problem with mine in the month I've had it and mine is standing up.

Ironically last night i messed up my friends quake 4 because the 360 was laying down and i went to plug an ethernet cable in the 360 and lifted the back about a half an inch and started hearing the disc grinding.


As for the 360. I think it is stupid. There are no good games. My friend has owned them all and keeps returning them cause they all suck. The only thing he plays is madden 2006 and to me i dont see how it would be diff to play it on the original xbox or playstation.

Only games ive enjoyed were condemmed and thats only cause it was pretty crazy but it really wasnt anything special. Call of duty is good to but i could have just as much fun on my playstation.
