cam timing

can someone please tell me how to align my cam. If any one has a diagram or pictures this would also help. I have a 2000 honda 400 ex. thanks

what are you asking
how too install the cam and conect the timing chain and sproket right??

yes i am asking for directions on how to replace the cam so that the quad is in time.

make sure the qaud is at top dead center
there are two marks on sprocket they should be even with the top of the head and facing out
after this is done insert the cam and just make sure the lobes are down put one allen wrench screw in then turn the moter over and insert the other ( be carfull and dont drop into case that is very bad)
i did this process yesterday on my 400 and no i did not drop the screw
