Went to the International Motorcycle show in DC on Fri. I was VERY impressed by the new Zuk. The only thing that I didn't like was it appears you're gonna have to take the tank off to change the spark plug.

The quad has a good stance. the rear end seemed a little springy, and had we had a screwdriver, we would have done alittle adjusting. I absolutly love the rear tires, and will try a set on my 450R when it comes time for new rubber.

I might pick up a second year edition.I'm willing to bet the first year ones will have problems with the EFI.

I would have taken more, but I didn't realize my disc was almost full when I left home. The rep said it would be released on the west coast by the last weekend of this month.

i must say that suzuki stepped it up. its weird looking at an all stock quad and having it look like someone added mx parts. with some stuff taken off and shaved, it will be an awsome looking quad. i hope it doesnt put the woopin on the 450r's too bad

Problems or no problems, I'm sure Suzuki will stand behind this quad 110%. Remember back in 03 with Z400 frames turning to crap? Suzuki stepped it up and did a fair share of replacements. If they want to compete with big red and blue, they are going to have to set themselves apart. Granted, they've built the most technologically advanced ATV to date, but customer service, I feel, is something they've worked to improve on!! I can't wait to pick my LTR up before the season starts!

For a Yfz, Predator, all Fourstroke MX bikes, and im sure the 450r is like that too with the spark plug, with my yfz i have 2 screws and one bolt and im to the plug, so it shouldnt be a whole lot of trouble.

I saw it sat. and I didn't care much for the factory welds. But it has a very good feel. The rear suspension felt smooth. The front springs look like there off a civic. I couldn't believe how big around they were. How about that little pea shooter tip in the white ones exhaust? it is about the size of my pinky.

Here are a few of my pics. you can see the pea shooter on the white one. Also the Mafia Z rider with a smile.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/atvmafia61/Dsc00702.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/atvmafia61/Dsc00703.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/atvmafia61/Dsc00704.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/atvmafia61/Dsc00705.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/atvmafia61/Dsc00706.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/atvmafia61/Dsc00707.jpg

You were talking about the welds, the rep also told me that as soon as they release them to the public, that these two would be destroyed cause they were just for the conventions. So hopefully the released models welds will be cleaned up a little better.

Looks pretty cool, but it seems that it is too MX specific. Maybe they should have made a XC/Trail version too.

I'd probably stand a better chance with bringing one of them home then the V-Rod!!!!

I love the stance on the LTR. I just get giddy everytime I see these pics. My only concern is if it will fit in the back of my 02 Frontier!?

Looks like they changed the swingarm in the carrier area. In the TV commercial it is open in the center with two pinch bolts instead of the four shown in the pics. I thought it looked a little weak before, I'm glad they changed it.

Im talking about something that can compete with the 450s. Making the LTR MX specific really limits their market.

I was there on Sunday morning hours. Saw the suzuk too. looked impressive. I picked up the front end and the rear end, the front seems heavier even though the suzuki rep said the bias was centered. kinda weird look'n at the battery in front of the engine too.

Wouldn't they engineer it so that the bias is equal with an average size rider (175lb @ 70") rider standing on the pegs in an agressive riding position?. So without the rider on it, the rear should be about 15 lbs or so lighter than the front.

Is it just me or does the stock exhaust with the baffle removed look very free-flowing? Someone that said that they saw Jerimiah Jones at GH the other day , that his exhaust sounded good, and it was the stocker w/ baffle removed.

Speaking of that exhaust.. that's one way to get people to wear their helmets and goggles.. lol. THat thing is going to be blowing right in the face of the person directly behind you.. lol No turndown.

LOL yeah, that cylinder is extremly short, that things gunna have some serious torque. thats nuts. i gotta wait a few years for them to fix any defects and get me one of those.

isn't it already LT? i know the front is, but seems the rear would be also. and i am sure that if it is not that suzuki would have surely thought about that, being they have waited two extra years on release of this beast!

also, jeremiah might have been running the stock pipe at Glen Helen practicing but he and Gust will be running Yoshi's for sure. no doubt about that.
