I am new to this site and want to say hello. I am also new to ATVs so please excuse my ignorance. the skid plate on the swingarm is bent a little, but not touching the rotor or chain. But I noticed the chain guide on the skidplate is missing, the plate looks to bent to put another guide onit. Will this hurt anything or should I replace the skid plate and another chain guide. Thank you very much.

It wont hurt any thing unless the skidplae is rubbing. I bent mine pretty bad and just took it off I dont even have a skidplate on the back now. I know its not a good idea but its better than having the stock one rub.

your from Georgia where in GA (pm me)

I would think about just getting a aftermarket skid plate it will hold up way better

I have Pro Armor on both my 400ex and z400; they're great in my opinion.

if ur plannin on racin through the woods id say get an after market one
b/c after one xc race my stock one was completely junk
check to see if it looks like ur chain is rubbing on ur skid plate
if it is ur probably gonna need a new chain and def. a new skid plate

IF you buy aftermarket try to look at them first, with some they use a flat plate all the way to the back, lose alot of ground clrearance, others are contoured to the sprocket, swingarm, and brake disk. All aftermarket skides are stronger than stock.
