i need some help i purchased a lonestar nolink swinger and dual rate pep rear shock that is 17 1/4 inches long from eye to eye used and the guy said he thought it would work on a stock 88 frame but the shock angle seems a little off so i'm thinking it for a aftermarket frame. i know some companies move the upper shock mount does anybody know where they move it to thanks. any info on this would be great.

no-link shocks go at a real big angle, enough of a angle that you can't use a stock airbox, without crushing it half-way through the travel.

heres a pic of how mine is

thanks for the picture that swinger looks like its a dc-4 no link i have the dc-2 no link swinger and when i go to hook the top of the shock to the upper shock mount my shock spring hits the swingarm a liittle bit so i have to force the shock to the mounting hole the last half of a inch or so . thanks

it is a dc-4 swinger, mounted on a lsr crf450r atv frame. Roll design used to make a no-long long travel swinger for a 250r, otherwise you need to move the shock mount 1.5 inches higher to get the no-link, long travel to work right.

thanks for the info is that vertically 1.5inches or is that towards the front of the quad 1.5 inches the shock that came with the swinger is 17.25 inches long do you think thats considered long travel.
