my rear stock tires are really worn. about two 1/2 years old. not bad for stock tire i guess. i want some aftermarket tires that will last and perform like my stock tires do.
i dont race seruosly, mostly ride trails, and alot of jumping. so no holeshot hd's too heavy from what i've been told. how are the kenda knarlys????

I used to have the holeshot hd's. They were great but after seeing the razr 2's, my next tire will be the razr's,

I'm running Kenda Klaw XC's right now & love them, but I only got them because the Knarly XC's were out of stock. Go with the Knarly, it's unbeatable for the price.

i have never had tires that hooks up better than stock 400ex tires they are light and have alot of bite. but they dont last that long. i have friends that swear by knarlys last forever seems like and Irazars but they dont have the big knobs like the knarlys.

Ihad holeshots and they seemed liked they were always going flat. Now i have the razers and love them. Now iam going to get the razer 2 fronts.

I just got I-Razr for the rear of mine since stock tires suck and i get punctures EVERY time i ride.

Cant go wrong with a 6ply tire!

How bad are the trails you ride on? If you don't race seriously, but jump a lot, why not get 18s? If the trails aren't bad, it seems like they'd be worth it. I don't race, yet anyway, but I am ordering 18s within a week. They look so awesome compared to 20s or bigger, and they handle sweet. I guess I ride more on an MX track, so I'm sorta biased, but hey, if the trails aren't that bad or anything, why not 18s? Cheaper, look better, handle corners better....Just my opinion...

Kenda Knarlys are very affordable. They last a while, hook up very good and they are 6ply. I still have them on my other quad, they have been on there for almost a year now. Very good tire for a good price.

go back with the radials that came on it or look for the 450r Dunlop radials. They will ride better and hook up a lot better.
