450r carb on 426ex jetting

i have a 400ex with a 12:1 426 je piston, stage 2 hot cam. cleaned up head, full exhaust, no air box. i put the 450r carb on it with 185 main and i runs's and idles good but falls at high rpms. Does anyone have a similiar setup, that good tell me what jets, needle position, and airfuel they used, thanks

if it appears to "load up" on top then it could be too rich

I have a 440 with 450r carb. Mods are in my sig. What's your elevation? Is your bike a stock bore? If so then I would put a 160 main in and the needle in the 3rd. Mixture 2.5-3 turns out

I can't remember my jetting, but i know thats way to rich, i had the same problem, then dropped main a bit and it worked perfect, when you get it dailed in you love that mode...
