i need info really fast about sprocket

i have a 416 wiht hot cam stage 2 high comp piston 11 to 1 and fully race port and polish i have i 16 tooth on it now im putting a 14 tooth on today will i still b able to out run a z400 and still have my top end zipp that i have on it now

you are going to loose quite a bit of top end by dropping two teeth on the front sprocket. if it were me, i would go back to the 15 tooth(stock). you will definitly pull him through all the gears, but he'll catch you once you have run out of gears with that 14 tooth. you will be shifting like crazy because those 416's rev very quick!!!

i have a 15 tooth and i can smoke a z until were both in 5th gear wide open for like a mile and a half. I could pull from him soo good in every gear.

Same i can smoke him off the line with a 15 tooth, but when he hits fifth gear the takes me over.

After i screwed around with different gearing i went back to stock. I tryed 14/39 and it was just to much bottom end and loss of top end. Then tryed just the 14 tooth and it was ok but since im putting a 416 in mine i went back to completely stock gearing. Plus i actually like the over all feel of it better.

i got a 440ex 12:5:1 with 15, 38 and i smoke the z400's i raced a z440 and we were side by side

well im racing a boy with bone stock z bone stok i feel like the 16 tooth front sproket isto much topend for my 416 we are only raceing a couple hundred feet in drage race and motocross

nooooo...i have one and couldnt out run a good 300ex in the long run:ermm: ....but it gets there fast as crap
