who has one? i really want a mustang. i test drove a 04 GT for the weekend and fell in love with the thing. i was going to get it untill i found out the cost of the insurance. my question is im thinking about gettin an older 5.0 since the insurance will be cheaper. how do they handle? are they reliable? if not i dont want one. i really want sumthin sorta new but the 5.0s just look so bad ***. do what would yall suggest...an 2004 mustand GT 5dp, or a 89-93 5.0 GT?

insurance is still gonna kill you depending on where u live. for me i live in the suburbs of philly im 18 and i been in one accident. it would prolly cost me 3 grand for minimal insurance.

they can be reliable if they are taken care of, like any other car they will break and you will need to fix stuff like water pump and heater cores.

i never driven one so i couldnt tell you about handling, but if it has stock suspension and its over ten years old it wont take a turn like a vette, but the important part it will lay some rubber and get sideways.

just go to look at insurance rates online or call your local insurance company and request one.

i dont care much about takin turns fast. i just like goin fast and havin alot of power. i really want sumthin new and nice so i might just wait another year or 2 when i get my 400 paid off and my points on my insurance is dropped and get an 04. does anybody else not like the 05s+? i dont like the way they look. i think the 04s- look alot better.

I have a 2002 Mustang GT 5 speed... I was moments away rom signing on a 2004 Competition Orange GT w/ 5 speed but decided against it. It is seriously the most fun car I have ever driven, plenty of power and overall a great car! Here is a pic

I just sold one of my other stangs, it was a 88 Coupe with a full tube chasis, fully lightened, full out race. The coupes are the most ideal for drag racing, and i agree, i like the looks too. Renegadecoupe-grow up and man up to what you say, its as simple as that, dont promise things you cant uphold.
