thats a nice quad, you should keep it cause you will never get what its worth...

i'd keep it and save up for a 450 at the same time cuz you will never get what its worth and its a good bike so... but the only downside is that you wont be able to dominate with it you'll have to have a 450 for that

You can win on a 400ex and in dominating fashion as long as your not in a pro level class or a really really tough A class.

What class will you be racing in? If I were you if the 400 is in good shape mechanically I would keep it....if its a ticking time bomb I would sell it.

Keep it, it's the rider more than the quad when it comes to racing.

What he said. The EX is a perfectly suited quad for harescrambles.

Keep it like I did. I've got too much time, $$$, and TLC wrapped up in my quad to sell it and start all over again with a 450.

Thanks to Laz's innovation at GT Thunder, I now have an updated 400 motor that is on par with the new quads. Check out the mods in my sig, my buddies on their old 400EX's just can't keep up with me anymore!
