what front sprocket should i get to go with my primary drive rear sprocket? i want it to be a 14tooth, should i get the primary drive steel for $6, or the renthal aluminum for $15? This is off rockymountain

id go with steel. it wont wear out as fast unless your concered about weight.

for a front sprocket, steel and aluminum wont be that much of a weight difference

If it were me buying the sprocket. i would buy the renthal because the quality. it may wear out quicker but the performence should be better.

on a atv,i would go with the steel for the simple fact that mud and sand really do hammer your sprockets.;)

Is the weight savings of an aluminum sprocket noticable and worth the extra cost vs. the durability of steel sprockets?

i would just go steel. its not that much more weight than alum.
get the steel one!

it shouldent wear out that fast. but hey another steel sprocket is 6 bucks. not that much money.

some people say it cuts down on the rotational mass and frees up hp but its a bunch a bull, youd be better off spending the extra 9 bucks on other sutff
