Bought a 06 450er and ide like to set it up on a limited budget for woods racing. anyone know how to lower it to get the stance a 250r has or a yammy. for more stability in the woods???? any tips tricks for woods racing???

To lower it screw the preload rings up. Tips for your bike in woods is get some handguards, full skids, nerfs, kill switch, bumper, rims and tires. Do some engine mods and revalve the suspension and you'll be set.

Backing the preload off the stock shocks will lower the bike a little and also soften them some, but the valving in the 06 shocks is stiffer than the 04-05. We offer a triple rate front, dual rate rear conversion that lowers the ATV 2'' and revalves them for your weight and riding and also gives the ATV 1" more travel in the rear
