450r/300ex heat sheild installing help

[Honda TRX250ex]

I just recived my 450r heat sheild today and gonna put it on this weekend.
I know that some people did this before so can you guys tell me how to mount it up and could you post some pics too?

Did you get the 450r standoffs as well, or just the shield?

You need to get the standoffs.

The standoffs attach to the pipe using hose clamps (I'd reccomend stainless steel, so they dont rust, sieze up from the heat). Keep then semi loose so they can be moved.

Next, screw the heatshield onto the standoffs.

Position where it fits best, then tighten down the clamps.

All done.
