Chrome Powdercoat

I saw on a site that they have a "chrome look" powdercoating. I cant say i have seen this before. Think it would be nice, or too much?

Think of it as 10 foot crome. No powder made can duplicate the appearence of an electroplating process yet. It will look like crome... to a point.

pic looks good, now wait till the wash the engine:ermm: from the pic it doesnt look like they used a clear over the pc, and it will turn grey in short order.


chrome is more of a bright silver.

if no clear is used over chrome powder coating, it will rust. chrome powder coating has the appearance of polished aluminum.

chrome pc with no ps looks pretty good but with not clear it wont last so long. WHITH clear it lasts long but looks just like a nice silver.
