sonnet?

hey i need to write a sonnet for english... but i cant think of anything.. any help?

I had to write one for freshman english too...I wrote mine about a t.v.:chinese:

haha... ya i did mine a few weeks ago... hold on let me pull it up... the teacher liked it so much she kep it and wouldnt give it back... lol... its about racing..

ok here it is... i think this was my fineal one... i had like 3 of them trying to make this 10 sylibles or what ever... so here you go...


“Race Day”

When the light turns green and the Iron Gate drops,
As your tighten grip slips on the clutch.
Your heart starts to beat fast and your breathing stops,
All the riders go into a bunch.
But you somehow make it through the first burm,
And you get tough and block out the fear,
Down the straight and well past the second turn,
You holder' pinned in fourth gear.
With your Elka shocks taking the pounding,
From deep down inside yourself now you know,
You get the first lap where you see the crowd surrounding,
Its time to get serious and go.
So focus, pay attention and just toughen up,
And bring home the winning Golden Cup.
