16t front or 36t rear sprocket descision.

I feel that my 400ex has too much low end and was thinking about a 16t front or 36t rear sprocket.
anyone got an opinion on this?
will this take alot of low end away?

i have a e series slip on power kit cam and springs and i have a groovelite 16t on front and it still seems like it needs another gear
i am goin to order a 36 and see how it is

what size tires r u runnin? im runnin 18s and a 15 tooth front and 37 rear right now. i like it but im thinkin about goin with a 16 front to. if ur runnin bigger tires like 20s or so 16/36 may be too much in my opinion.
