450R parts on a 400ex

Are the stock a-arms and rear axle on a 450R any longer then the stock a-arms and axle on a 400ex, and if so will they fit??

the 450 a-arms are longer but will not fit ( unless frame modifications are made ). Have heard several people on here say the axles are interchangeable but not sure about the length
