There are two important state-based advocacy campaigns going on right now. If you are a resident of either New Jersey or Texas, please take the time to click on the links below and make your voice heard as well as using the Tell-a-Friend links to let all of your fellow riders know about these campaigns

Support Efforts to Build an OHV Park in West Milford, New Jersey
X-treme Habitat, a nonprofit organization, has been trying to build a recreation complex in West Milford NJ for several years. The park would include a bicycle motocross track, dirt jumping and flat land areas, skate park for inline skates and skateboards, unique facilities for persons with disabilities, mountain bike trails, ATV and motorcycle trails and practice tracks. The park would have the potential to offer riders in New Jersey an opportunity to ride in a fun and challenging setting that would minimize impact to the environment and encourage safe riding.

Please Support the Texas Motorized Trails Coalition Property Acquisition
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission will be voting on January 26, 2006 on a grant submitted by the Texas Motorized Trails Coalition for the acquisition of over 3,300 acres in Crockett County, TX for the development of a managed off-road vehicle recreation area. It is important that the Commission hears from you on this issue, especially regarding the family nature of OHV recreation.
