My motor loads up when idleing. I don't know if it's the jetting or what. It's like the idle is set to high but its not, the idle adjuster has no effect on it. What's going on?

try adjusting your throttle cable or something like that.

I don't think thats the problem but I'll try it.
It could be the jetting but it's definitely not the main jet.
Any other suggestions.

explain what you mean by loading up. I will see if I can help

If you loose control over the idle it's usually an indication of too rich or to lean. As to why is up to you....the idle passages could be mucked up or the float isn't set right or a whole host of things.

If you choke it does it get better or worse? If you take off the airbox lid does it get better or worse? This will help diagnose rich/lean. Black sooty smoke at idle? symptom of richness.

Poor compression could also cause your engine not too idle.

Keep is simple

maybe your throttle cable is moved... Like if I lean forward over my handle bars or push on the cables at the front I can rev my motor up....

Like, if I ride for 5 min. and come in and let it idle, it just keeps getting faster and faster or idles higher and higher.

Pleade help, this is very agrivating.

Well always start with the easiest stuff.....visually check that the throttle is really staying closed. Are there any leaks around the carb causing it to lean out at idle?

Did it just start out of the blue or was it when you changed parts? You are adjusting the idle screw with no effect... is the throttle really coming to rest against the throttle stop? Hold the throttle closed by hand and see if it does it (at the carb not the lever)
