I have been thinking about gettting one for the trails. Is there any way I can have a timer on it. to count lap times like on a XC course. My dad wants to get one also. What is a good cheap GPS system.

THanks

Greg

Garmin is the way to go if you are going to get a GPS. Look on eBay, they have deals all the time.

Check this one out-5850676104. It is a middle of the line model and will probably be more than enough for what you want to do.

I have a garmen etrex I'm thinking about selling if you are interested. I paid $99 for it about a year ago and it is still like new. I only used it once in the car on my way to the Wisp race.
