What is the best after market tank for a 06 ex. I want a 4.3 or 5.5 because I do a lot of long hauls.

Rico, did all the factory plastic fit back on or was there mods that you had to do to make it fit?

I have use an IMS when I go on long rides. But if I had to choose again I would go with a clark. It looks nicer and is holds more gas.

I got the ims tank and I bought it cause I got a good deal on it and it is nice
but if you are buying one brand new I would get clarke they are cheaper and look like they are less space taker upers:eek2:

I've had both, I prefer the Clarke 5.5 gallon, and you don't crack your nutz. Just remember you don't have to fill it up all the way if your trying to save weight.

I have a clark tank on mine, and no modifications had to be made to the factory plastic. Also in my opinion Clarke tanks are better than IMS ( on 400ex's ) because you don't have that huge top sitting in front of you.

Hey man nice EX. I am sold on the Carke tank....What kind of plastics are those and did you have to do any cutting to fit that tank?
