they will fit, but they arent going to be as good as if you got them made for a 400ex.

they have to be sent out. The Z400 weighs different than the ex so they are vavled different. It isnt going to be too noticable since you havent ridden your quad with aftermarket shocks made for your setup. If they are going onto stock a arms then they will be stiff.

the z400 shock is a bit longer then the ex, and sometimes it will make the front end ride high. and yes, ive tried it thats how i know:devil:

they will bolt in there, will they offer you a ride that you think they will is the bigger question.

set up of the shock, eye to eye length, all play a roll in how well they work. they could work good, or they could work like total ***. then you will have a set of Z shocks that either need to be sold or completely reworked to preform any where near where they should.

my advice, why d!ck around with something that may work, there are enough aftermarket 400ex shocks on the market that I wouldnt even consider trying them

well if this helps my friend has a set of peps from a 400ex. they both have same length a-arms and same weight riders but the Z sits about 4 inches from the ground and rides like poop. :eek2:

what size a-arms do you ahve on your four hundy, is it stock size. if it is and those shocks are set up for +3 a arms then its gonna make your front end ride high. Plus, when you order shocks don't they specialy make them for what kind of riding you do and how much you weigh and the type of bike you have?
