Need new footpegs

I need new footpegs with better grip or else I need to get better bite out of the stock pegs. I think I remember reading somewhere that the stock pegs can be sharpened up with a file. Anyone done this?

a good 1/2 inch square file completes the job in short order!Get some footpeg extenders with the kicked up edges while your at it,huge improvment.They are available from james lucky enterprises.

You could always do what i did and go with roll design stainless steel three rung with kick ups,these are WOW!!!
