Stock Carrier in aftermarket swingarm?

is it bad to use the stock carrier in a aftermarket swingarm? whats the difference in the stock one and a round housing carrier?

A lot of aftermarket swingarms use a cam style carrier, like what is used in the Hondas.

I know on the 400ex ya' can use either - it prob. dep. on the man. of swarm -and usually the stock is for single row bearings and aftrmarket usually has the twin row
