2006 versus 2005 footpeg question

Trying to confirm if Honda made changes to the footpegs. I was told the 2006 pegs sit lower and further back than the previous years. Any truth to this? It doesn't seem possible to me as they seem too far forward and high as it is. I can't imagine the earlier years being worse.

i dont think they moved the pegs, because 04-05 nerfbars will bolt right up to the 06

yep I just put on a set of AC propegs that were for a 04-05 on an 06...and they fit fine.....except for what AC screwed up....anyway they are the same

I am hearing that the 2006 footpegs sit 1/2" lower than the previous years. I just got off the phone with Roll Design.

No that wasn't the problem I ran into.......the left side bolted up perfect but the right side was bent wrong and wouldn't line up.....so a little tug and it fit fine......it was some of AC's good quaity control at its finest......AC stuff never fits very well....

I put IMS/Roll Design pegs on mine and they fit perfect

I believe the overall ride height got lowered
that is simply done with the preload on the shocks.

the OEM 06's pegs are lower and will fit on your 04'-05'.
