Pappy...just wanted to be sure that you received my parts and check. You should have by now. Also, can you confirm that the arms I sent you are definitely +2 vs +1? They should be +2. If they are +1, please dont PC/chrome them.

i did recieve them, but i honestly havent measured them yet. i will pick them up tomarrow after the bushings are removed and i will verify what width they are for you!

Hey Pappy...get a chance to measure my arms? I know you're a busy man, so dont think i'm pressuring you. I'm just more curious than anything. IF they do turn out to be +1, dont do anything with them. I'll end up selling them to pick up a pair of +2 instead.

i got them back tonight from having the bushings/sleeves removed. ill measure them and or compare them to what i have here and see what i can concur

Great, thanks!! Just to confirm, all three of the calipers and lower a-arms should be translucent blue with the gloss finish just like you did my frame a couple years back and the upper arms should be chrome plated.
Any estimate on how long it will take to complete all this?

all the pc'd parts will be done in just a few days. i have to prep the upper arms, then its in the platers hands. ive had it run just a week to almost a month. i will express the fact that we need these back asap so hopefully it will not take too long

cool...let me know if you run into any issues with disassembling the calipers...i'm sure they haven't been torn down in years!

Will the calipers and lower a-arms have that glossy finish to them like my frame, spindles and hubs do when you did them? Just curious...

Whats the best way to clean the holes where the grease fittings will go? I'm not sure how easy it will be to find a tap to match....

the only thing holding them up is waiting for the 16mm tap. i have no idea where mine went so i ordered a new one and its due here on tuesday. looks like you will be back in business by the end of the week.

FINALLY the tap arrived:p and ofcourse i ran it thru with my fingers so i could have sent them but the moment i would have you'd have been cussing me:D

all thats left is to ship them, but honestly i could not remember if these arrived assembled with bushings and ball joints so if you could refresh my clouded head i will get these back to you asap

Good deal, pappy. I removed the ball joints before I shipped them to you, but I did INCLUDE the bushings and the metal spacers (or whatever you call them) that go between the bushings. Know what I mean?

Let me know when you think the parts will go out.

just send the caliper bracket along, no problem no charge

i got the pm, however i do not know about the bushing sleeve. when i disassembled the arms everythinmg went into a marked bag and when reassembled it was missing, but honestly i do not remember if the sleeve was there prior to me getting the arms or not. LSR is the only place you can get that sleeve and I can order it for you if you'd like, im sure its just pennies so no biggie.


for the calipers it will be $38 shipped for moly'd shafts and new pc
