426 Ross 11:1 piston
LA Sleeve
Hot Rod Crank
Hotcam Stage 1
Port + Polish
White Bros Rev Box
White Bros Air Filter
White Brothers Pipe

I like it. Was expecting a little more power, but I can't complain at all. It's really awesome. Have had some issues with it though, so I haven't got a chance to ride in about 3 months. So I figured what the hell and I'm redoing the whole thing...powdercoating and all...should be sweet when its done.

Why should i get rid of the advance key with rev box. I have been running this together for about a year now and I havn't had any problems. Not trying to be smart, just want to know.

the sparks key does exactly what it says, advances your timing. well the Rev box does basically the same thing, advances the timing curve as well as upping the rev limiter. if you are running both your timing is over-advanced. This will cause the bike to run hot, that is why the timing key is not recomended for built motors due to heat issues. With your settup you are probably loseing power once your bike is up to operating temps since the heat is so high unless you have it jetted rich and then is probably doesnt run its best until it is riden for a while and copletly warmed up..

wiseco big bore 440 12:5:1 compression
yoshimura full system
hott cam stage 1
k&n air filter
barnetts clutch ( never get one put it my first one wore out in 3 rides ) ( cable was too tight tho)

2004 Yeller 400EX (performance motor mods, not appearance)
- HMF slip on
- K&N air filter
- Stage 1 Hotcam
- Stock gearing
- 42 pilot jet, K165 main, Needle to soon be on the second notch from bottom
- Stock gearing
- Bandit XC 6 ply tires:mad:

Like my set up now. I had 14/39 gearing but got rid of it basically because it was just way to much bottom end, i liked it in tight trails but long stretches it was just terrible. My tires suck!!! They are pretty good in dry surfaces, but as soon as its slick they dont hook up worth crap!
Very soon to be installed...
416 11:1 wiseco piston, XR Gaskets, Port and Polish, Maybe the powerbomb header, and some 450R front shocks. The list will just go on though im sure:(

it's not that much honestly, I have more low-end than top-end by far. Still in a straight up drage race after 3rd gear a 450 pulls away from me, it's all in the rider though.
