Any cam for the TRXs will work....we recently threw in an '05 HRC cam in an '06, ran pretty well.....

We've ran WebCam, HotCam, MegaCycle, CRF cam, and both HRCs......

i'v ran hotcamII but unless you adjust your decomp clearance more than the spec. it causes hard start problems... the 05 crf cam is the 06 hrc cam... so if you don't want to buy the kit just get the 05 crf cam..

The CRF cam the decomp setting is good
04-05 HRC & hotcam the decomp needs to be .024
Megacycle the decomp needs to be .030
web 208 worked at .022
I know it sounds off but the bikes I had these cams in are very hard to start if they would even start until I loosened the decomp to these settings. all CRF and TRX cams will work in the 06s

that i don't know, on the 06 eletric starts the best way is to adjust the decomp using a compression tester..seems 70-80 psi compression make them easier to start.. honda svc manual i believe is 56 psi..i set the hrc cam just using the setting in the manual .011" exhauste .010" decomp and it works good didn't check to see what the compression was at this setting .
i know from experience with hot camII,the stock setting makes it very hard to start,if you look at the cam next to the honda cam the decomp hole is slightly off, 450RRR at the org has good pics of this
