purple enigine ice

I look in the rad and my ICE is purple,I'am going to change it tomarrow. Anybody know why it turned purple? The ICE is about a year old.

sometimes radiator fluid leaves small disapation chunks in it, which turn it a darker color, also it may have mixed with some other fluid you had in it before

I thought engine ice was purple to begin with. I have had 2 separate 1/2 gallons and both were a purple color. The latest looked a little more blue than the first though.

It's gets a darker purple color as time goes on. I think that is because it gets dirty.

where do you guys buy your engine ice?

I get mine from the local motorcycle shop.

The darker shade of mine was purchased at Finishline Motorsports in New Albany, IN. The lighter more blue shade was purchased at Mike's Cycle World in Bowling Green, KY.
