How much pressure is safe to set the bead on a set of kenda klaws. I've went to 25 psi and nothing, the tire itself says not to exceed 15 psi, I don't want to loose an eye. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:( :(

have you tried greasing the bead of the tire? We use murphy's lube on ours, but some light grease should do it too. If you go real heavy on the grease be careful you could be wearing the extra grease.

I have always got them to bead by 30psi, but sometimes they are tuff. Make sure the tire is lubed up, go up to 30 psi and if it still doesn't bead up, leave the 30 psi in there for a while. I've had some I let sit for about 30min and they finally popped on the bead. Some times you can also heat the tire up before trying to bead it, that will let it stretch better

A few times I have had to take a rubber mallet and tap on the tire near where the bead wont pop up to get the bead to pop.
