I have a 00 400ex and am curious about the performance gains from the kit. I know I'll get more hp but is the hp worth the cash?

It depends, a 440 kit alone.... not worth the money. (3hp)

A 440 ket with all the trimmings.... (to me) worth the money.

well said...
by trimmings he means a/f cam, racing valves, exhuast, even a port and polish wont hurt. with all these the thing will FLY!

I think its like $250.

I had mine done by Matt at Magic Racing. He did an awesome job, ported the heck outta it. He ports it depending on the type of exhaust you have.
