yes a toothbrush to get in the small areas, but to me that seems pointless (it is just going to get dirty again)

i personaly like to us a road grime sponge (a sponge with a fish net looking thing over it) u can crame it into spots that are small and any other sponge works also sponge paint brushes work well

i used to use a sponge, and simple grren, or engine bright. I loved greased lightning, but if you leave it on aluminium too long it will stain it, but it works well! oh and i like castrol super clean aslo if ou leave on on too long it will stain, but it works the best out of anything i have used!

Use Castrol Super Clean Cleaner & Degreaser. Spray it and let it set for 20 minutes then pressure wash your quad. It will look like new afterwards.

Engine degreaser then rub it around. and let it sit then hose it off or pressure wash it

Apply WD-40 prior to riding for easy cleaning.

i use simple green with a tooth brush then when its dry i have an engine detailer spray that i use. My quad gets muddy sometimes when i ride, but as long as you at least squirt it off after the ride the motor will stay looking new.

Castrol Super Clean works great. Make sure that you rinse everything really good afterwords though. I have taken paint off with this stuff!:p

Think about what you just said:confused: dirt sticks to anything that is wet and grease stays wet.

not tryin to cause a fight but he ment wd 40 and its oil not grease so hes right it wouldnt stick well but it would stick if it where true "grease" liek axle grease or lithium but not assembly or "light" oil like wd 40

if you put it on your plastic before riding, yeah stuff will stick but its alot easier to get off.

problem is when you get your engine warmed up and you have wd40 on your pipe or engine it just turns to steem with a bad smell

There is a cleaner caller purple power that is like 4 bucks for a gallon of it and it works awsome on a motor.
