I was wondering if any one have ever polished he oil pan/resivior what ever it is called on the 400ex. I have been thinking about doing it, some kid told me you cant do it with that type of metal but im pretty shure you cant. Any one know if you can or cant?

The oil resivior on the 400ex is aluminum, it can be polished.

Also I was thinking about the a-arms how long do they take untill they start to oxidize?

That is sweet i started to sand to day and decided to paint it it was taking to long to polish ill have a pick up soon.
