Complete 250R Tranny

Would anyone be interested in a complete brand new Honda TRX 250R Transmission. I would like to get 275 shipped out of it....its all there including a new countershaft sprocket.

What year is it for? I know most of the gears are the same but a few are different.

to tell you the truth I don't know.....I bought it when I first got into 250R's and didn't know there was a difference then...but now I do...sorry

I may know a guy. His trans blew through the case.His is a 86. I will call him tomorrow,and let him know.:)

i knwo for a fact the 86 had a taller 6th gear....

Count the teeth on the mainshaft fifth gear and the countershaft fifth gear

If they have 24 teeth and 26 teeth, its for an 86, if it has 23 teeth and 25 teeth its for 87-89. Let me know, pretty interested either way but would prefer pics and to know.
