IMS gas tank for 05 pred?

Today i tried ordering a ims gas tank but they told me they dont make a tank for the 05. Does any one know if the tank for the 04 will fit for the 05?? but i know that smiley ran one on his quads last year so it must???

I've seen many on 05's so yes they do make them. But there only color is natural.

I think the reason they say the tank for the 04 wont fit is because of the reverse knob. The IMS tank covers the place where the reverse knob is so you have to move the knob. PM calds650 for info. I have seen pics with an IMS tank on his 05 TLD Later Josh

the tank will fit with some minor mods i believe. we have one we have used from an 03 to 04 05 and 06. we get a new machine sponsored every year so we reuse the go fast parts. the frame need minor filing on the left webbed brace part. you will see it instantly if you try it. pretty simple
