jetting

ok so i hav a 165 main jet and a 42 pilot and it idles fine but when u give it gas it boggs out and dies, is my jetting too rich??

Sounds like it. Take your air box lid off and see if the problem goes away. If so it is too rich. Check your mixture screw make sure it is approx 2 1/2 turns out.

Lots of gas takes lots of air!

i hav a k&n filter, hotcam stage 1, airbox lid off, and a dyno jet. my mixture crew is 3.5 turns out. its on groove 3.

to re-do your air fuel mixture screw can you screw it in all the way and restart? cause i have no i dea what im on..
