i want to remove the stock hot start-switch assy and get a aftermarket clutch+hot start purch and lever. what are you guys useing? i was looking at the oem crf450 set up but i dont know if the cable will fit???

I have a 450r with the oem crf450 hot start assembly on it.....I did have to change my cable to a crf450 one..

do you have the oem carb? or a crf carb?

I bought a CRF perch and ordered the cable from Baldwin--it should work fine.

I just got the baldwin cable/works connection lever and i agree it works works great.

Don't waste extra money on another cable.
Genxatv.com makes one for the sock cable. Its cheaper than most other perches and is a very nice piece. I highly reccomend it. For a discount PM me.

ok...thanks, i just got an asv with hotstart, i'll check into it to see if i need ne cables or not
