Good Wireless router?

Im looking for a good wireless router under 85-90 bucks. I would like to have one thats password protected so nobody bogs my internet. Oh and if it helps I have Comcast Cable Internet.

Just let ya'll guys know we are moving the computer from the dining/living room to my room since im the only one who ever uses it, and we don't want to but more wire and go threw the hassle of re-wiring. Im also going to want to run my PSP of off it so it needs to be wifi compatable(arnt all of them tho?)

i had a netgear for a little and i didnt try the wireless but the wired connection was so damn slow its not even funny so i went back to my old belkin

my linksys is pretty good and they have good customer support

oh yeah, I snagged those extra strength antennas from walmart that are like $50 and get signal through the whole apartment complex. I didnt put any password on my router because I believe in free internet so everyone in my apartment complex pretty much uses my signal. Kinda cool

Linksys is really nice. You can set up the password protection when you set up the router. It's called a "Network Key" I believe. I'm taking a few classes this semester on wireless networking, so I can figure out some more info.:)

if you ABSOLUTELY cant hard wire your comps then CYSCO is the way to go...

we have test d-link , netgear, lynksis, and they all drop the ip's espacially if you are going a 100 ft distance useing a repeater, wireless technology just isnt at a point where its as reliable as a good ol cat 5, the signal interfers and drops far too much.

I have Netgear and it came free when i bought my laptop. But something on my laptop causes the speed to go from 54mbps to 48/24/36/1 mbps and then about 10 minutes later it will be back to normal at 54mbps? And im not able to surf the net or use msn when it gets low speed and its really slow. What would cause this to happen. My desktop is connected at 100mbps and ever since we got the wireless router which we plugged into a regular router and the same time my laptop connection drops so does the desktop connection.
