Exorcism of Emily Rose is a good movie, but it was played out to be more scary than it actually was.

Exorcist is the scarriest of all time!!!! People actually died due to sheer terror from watching the movie when it came out in '74! And the special affects were done long before CG was around. Even listening to the sound track today will make you crap your pants!! Click here if you dare!!!!!!!!

Not responsible for any heart attacks if you click on this link either!!!

All time is "the Exorcist"! Pretty much all horror movies today are stupid, there scary but there story is pretty stupid. The older movies are where its at. Another fave is Halloween 1 and 2, after that they were also getting unexciting. There's probably a few I left out?

Jaws..... I saw that movie in 1976. I was six years old, and to this day any large body of water freaks me out. Just knowing that shark really exists worked on my head!!!!! Never have forgot it....

For actually being Scary it would have to be The Exorcist hands down...(saw it when i was 8 with my older brother and his friends to that point no other movie had scared me, lol that one did the job i screamed like a little *****) that one still can make you get the chills when watchin in at night by yourself home alone. As for "scary" movies that were just plain good flicks would have to be:
Saw 1+2
House of a 1000
Seven
Leprechaun- series 1-8
Halloween- series
Jason -series
Nightmare on Elm... series
Scream -series
and soo many more...(horror movie junkie)

Exorcism was definatly scary IMO, but nothing freaked me out like The Shining. If you haven't seen it, please do. It's awesome and scary as well.
