Ok I got a raptor rear shock, and I want my back end to sit as low as I can get it would it hurt to adjust my ride height adjustment all the way up so it will sit lower? What sections of tracks will it hurt me the most? It has compression adjustment and rebound adjustment. With the compression what is that doing if I adjust that?

compression is hardness and softness and setting the preload all the way up will hurt you on big jumps and the whoops and could cause your exhaust to hit the caliper when taking a big hit

Alright...well is there any other ways I can get mine to sit a little lower?

Changing the spring rate and having it revalved to your weight and riding conditions.
