05 400ex plastic on a 300ex

Ok, I know that you can fit the older style 400ex fenders on a 300ex/250x of any year but how about the new 400ex 450r styled fenders?? anyone try it? seems like its cheaper to go this route then to buy new 300ex fenders

I dont think you can cause you cant even put the 05 plastic on a older 400ex so you probably cant put it on a 300ex with out a lot of rigging and it would probably look like crap after you rig all of it up

I had no problem putting 05 plastic on my 04 I just need to find a quadtech hood for a 2005 400ex
