Ok so this is a pretty retarded idea but i've got an ol 1999 kawasaki bayou 220 jus sittin aroun and i was wonderin if u guys had any ideas i could do to it to trick it out. i kno that fmf makes a exhaust pipe for it cus i read it in one of my 4 wheeler mags but so far here's wat im thinkin on doin to it . first dif exhaust system. second k&n air filter. thrird fabricate some nerfs for it. fourth take the racks off. fifth get some maxiss razr's on it. Sixth put some aftermarket handlebars on it. Seventh possibly figure out some way to get a diff front suspension on it because the suspension on it the front of all bayous suck. eighth make this thing faster and more off a jumping candidate because i have family that ride with me and want a faster quad because they've been ridin the bayou (my old quad) for quite a while and are tired of it bein so doggy. so do u guys have any other ideas. plz no smarta** comments even tho it sounds retarded.

dude i know wat ur talking bout for shure i have a 220 to and its funny cuse it has more hp than a 300ex and its fun to ride. i wanted to make it race ready for a wile be fore i got my 300.tell me it u got any info on the front supention cuse they realy do suck and im riding it for a wile utill my 300 is back and running cuse it winter rebuild time. good luck!!!!

Ya nuthin is set in stone yet but if i don't do it one of my friends who can't afford a sport quad might do it. but does anybody have any ideas on how i can maybe get a set of elkas on teh front.

i think the first thing i would do is the front tires and the camber of them. some how cut a peace out and weld it back up and reinforce it some how.

if you do that you may want to make the lower arms a lil longer than you make the top ones to try and fix the weird way the wheels sit

dude thats the camber and there are only bottom a-arms and no top ones :( it wil be a big job but prolly well worth it in the end.

Port and polish, take air box lid off, see if you can get a bigger carb to fit on it, mill the head.

^^^ that will work untill u want to go fast cuse the suspention just plain old sucks on it i like that idea though. i need a welder then i can realy do things i want to like build a frame for a 200 motor or some thing like that.
