I was going to get one once, but then I realized they wouldn't be much fun to ride by yourself...

I'd put mine up against almost any other 50, but it's worth too much, plus I'd have to take it off the dresser in my spare bedroom.:D For those who don't know, it's a 1975 Honda MR50. Honda's first racing mini. 3 speed, manual clutch, two-stroke.

A 110 is not half as fun as modding a 50 but everyone has there own opinions....

exactly, i got a 05 klx 110 for 1600 out the door and a crf was around 1,000. I put a pipe, air filter kit, and stiffer front and rear springs on it.

To make a crf even close to the power I have I would have to get an 88 kit with head, cam, piston and rings or even the 110cc kit.

I'm a bigger guy and more comfortable on the 110, my buddies have full decked out crf's on sano frames/swinger/forks and it's sweet and he got a great deal on it. But comparing when you mod the two out and dont have the cash it doesn't compare to me when I barley have to put anything on a 110 to make it race ready and the stock crf50 motors are dogs.

I have a 50 and a 110, the 110 is faster and easier to ride but the fifty is too much fun. I even have a thumb throttle on the fifty.

sorry to hear that, from personal experience, hopefully your kicker gear stays in tact, and you don't blow the motor up 3 times, and have to wait 4 months on parts from california that you can't talk to people on the phone and you have to fax them the part #'s and just hope to god they come in eventually.

On a good note, the crf or xr 50 motor will bolt right up in that frame. About the only positive thing on the SDG, They do run great while they run but that's very few and far between maintenance.

Yea I have heard about the numerous problems they have, so when the motor craps out I will probably just put a CRF motor in it. Haven't had any problems with it yet, but the things I have read scare me.

Thank you for responding and not acting like a buttwipe, I'm glad you can see I was just making sure you were aware of the issues that some people have with them and trying to help you out and not diss you. I respect that and like I said those things do rip when they are running and are hard to beat as long as it stays "together" good luck with it.

05 110

Two brothers exhaust
Two brothers air filter kit
Two brothers agressive front springs
Two brothers agressive rear spring

I'm not sure what i will get next possibly a set of bars and graphics, the power feels fine to me a wee bit of hesitation on bottom end but other than that i need no further mods, a set of marzocchi front forks wold be great but i just dont have the cash for them as we speak and the springs on it now seem to be working great not bottoming out like i was prior to installing the agressive springs.
