Hey all, This is my first post here.

I recently decided to trade my 02 Banshee for an 87 25OR.

The 250R had thr front brakes removed for some sort of racing. Being that I will be racing MX with it I need front brakes.
What I need to know is will 400ex rotors, calipers, lines, mastercylinder all fit on the 250R.

Also so if anyone has any of this stuff in good condition. Let me know. Thanx

Yes it can work but I don't know why you would want to put those on because the 250R calipers are better due to twin piston vs the single piston for the 400ex. Stick with the R brake setup or you can put 450R brakes on.

I would go with the 450R brake set up. Much less expensive than 250R parts and better stopping power than a 400EX. Calipers are very inexpensive (even new). You will need 450R spindles, 450R calipers, and front hub/discs from a 450R, 88-89 250R, 400EX, or I think 300EX hub/disc will work too.

That is the best set up. There is a thread over on *********.net about the same topic.

if you decide to go with the 450R front setup,i have a brand new pair of front 450R calipers (without pads) ...i'll give you a deal on them.
