Cracked

Well guiys I was changing my tie-rod today and noticed my frame was cracked above the upper shock mounts. I'm getting them welded today @ 3:30 so I can go ride tonite. I'll get some pics of it posted soon.

I was looking over my quad today and noticed i cracked both upper motor mounts, its like this on both sides.

mine is broke there on both sides too, the bolt that goes through is bent, and the mount on the head of the engine is broken in half

While I was out riding today both my upper shock mounts broke like Ocra288's and the part where it connects down by the a-arms, the whole shock tower just broke off, causing the front end of the quad to just sink! I was over a jump while I did this, landed so hard on the left side I bent my Renthals and my steering stem! :grr

boy all this frame cracking is making me nervous! maybe i should look into gusseting this bad boy. wheres all the weak spots at? could someone post pictures of where all the gussets need be? i'd really appreciate it and im sure others will too :macho

I cracked mine too and im a wimp at riding. lol Not really but not that hardcore so maybe you should gusset. I wish i would of.

excellent! thanks for all your help, i'll probably put the gussets on tomorrow since my ex is apart for the 416 kit to be installed.
