gosh dang!! if you only knew how much time I spend cleanin on that thing....the tires are dirty but the engine still UGLY!!! I cant get it to go away!!:mad:

getting the mud on the cylinder fins? PFFH. sounds like a ****load of work... whats the best way to get that **** off?

toothbrush, brillo pad, and some elbow grease along with simple green

or send ur cases off to get polished and your head powdercoated black... looks soooo good! prolly gonna cost ya $200 or so... I know a guy who will do em. send me a pm if ya wanna know his contact info.

it still takes maintenance and up-keep and if not cleaned properly will turn out looking just like what he has, but will be a different color. I agree with you 100% it makes a night and day difference, but either way you gotta maintain your machine.

yeah if you dont mind spending a lil time after every ride to clean it then they will look like sh*t. if you do keep em clean and polished then they look like chrome!

Take some denatured alchol, and some kind of wire brush, and an air compressor with air gun. Once you use a lil elbow grease like the other guy said. Spray you motor down with W-40. That way, once you get it muddy again, when you go to spray it off with a water hose, it'll come right off. Then re-spray. A friend show me that. It works too.:D
