how many watts does my stator need to be to run some trail tech lights on my 250r i have a 100 watt stator will that do it

PLENTY! Get the 35 watt ones.

are the 35 watt lights bright enough by there self or are you supposed to have your stock light with them

They are bright enough. Much brighter that stock. You will burn your stator up with both.
